PRAIRIE CONFECTIONS
KANSAS-MADE ARTISAN SUNFLOWER BRITTLE, HAND-STIRRED IN SMALL BATCHES THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY
Prairie Confections began at a Goodland, Kansas, Public Library book sale when Mary Ellen Coumerilh purchased a vintage mimeographed recipe book put together by local sunflower farm wives. Inside this book was a recipe for sunflower brittle. Today, using only premium ingredients, we still hand stir our sunflower brittle in small batches, just like the farm wife who submitted the original recipe all those years ago.
